A LRIT Conformance Test normally takes up to 48 hours to complete. We encourage all vessels to test their transceivers well in advance of their approaching radio surveys to ensure that there is enough time for a test to run completely. Please also allow time for the issuance of the LRIT Conformance Test Report, after test completion.
Conformance Test Reports for all Flags that we certify for are issued within three days of receipt of payment. We also offer a Fast Track service, with CTRs sent the next working day, for an additional administration fee. For more information, please refer to Conformance Test Reports.
If your shipborne equipment is nonconformant, Pole Star can supply a dedicated LRIT kit. For more information, please refer to LRIT hardware.
If the test was conducted with Pole Star and your vessel transfers to another Flag for whom Pole Star is authorised to test, you do not need to re-test the equipment. However, you will have to obtain a new Conformance Test Report.
